Unique Collection

We've been at this spot on Lake Palace Road for quite a while now. If you know where the Rangniwas taxi stand is, we’re right across from it. It’s a busy corner, always cars and taxis pulling in and out. Inside Unique Collection, it's mostly just shelves full of things we've picked up over the years. Some days the sun comes through the front door really strong and we have to move stuff around so the colors don't fade. Most of the time we're just sitting here, waiting for someone to walk in and ask about a specific piece. It gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic, but we try to keep up with it. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the name on the front. Sometimes locals stop by just to chat for a bit while they're waiting for a ride. We handle a lot of different items, and I guess that's why we picked the name. It’s not a huge shop, but there’s enough to keep us busy during the day. Sometimes we forget to lock the back door properly, but it’s a safe enough neighborhood. If you’re walking toward the lake, you’ll probably see us. It’s just a normal shop run by people who live nearby. Nothing too special, but we like being here. The rent keeps going up but we stay because it's a good spot to see the city move.
