The Blue Lantern

The Blue Lantern is located at 5/84, Lake Haveli, in the Chandpole area of Udaipur. We are situated in Naga Nagri, which is near the Hotel Leela and just outside the main Chandpole area. Our spot has a 313001 zip code and is part of the older, more traditional section of Rajasthan. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now, and it has that old-fashioned feel to it. It isn't a modern, polished restaurant by any means. We just have a simple setup where we serve the people who live around here and the occasional traveler who finds their way to Naga Nagri. Being near the lake means the atmosphere is a bit different than the main city center, but it still gets busy. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people doing social media. It’s mostly just us keeping the place clean and the kitchen running. The streets around Chandpole are narrow and can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to them. We like being in this part of Udaipur because it feels real and not too commercialized. We don't make any grand promises about what we do. We just open up and provide a place for people to sit and have something to eat. If you are walking past the Hotel Leela or exploring the back streets of Chandpole, you will likely stumble upon us eventually.
