Boutique Mansua Textiles

We are located at number 22 on Lal Ghat Marg, inside what everyone knows as Shaktawat Sadan. It’s an old building, so the walls are thick and it stays relatively cool even when the Rajasthan heat gets bad outside. Boutique Mansua Textiles is basically just a few rooms filled with stacks of fabric and finished pieces. We spend a lot of time folding and unfolding things for people who walk in from the street. Lal Ghati is a busy area, especially with all the travelers walking down toward the water. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, there are boxes everywhere for a couple of days. The stairs up to the shop are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. My family has been around this area for a long time, and the shop is just part of our daily life. We don't have a website or anything fancy like that. If someone wants something, they just come in and look through the piles. Sometimes the colors don't look the same under the indoor lights as they do outside, so we often take pieces out to the doorway to show the real shade. It’s just us here, mostly drinking tea and dealing with the textiles. It's a bit cluttered, but that's how we like it. We've got some old wooden chairs in the corner if you need to sit for a minute.
