The Green Roadlines

We are located at D-41 in Pratap Nagar, right in the middle of the Transport Nagar area off Chittor Road. The Green Roadlines has been here for a good while now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space with some desks, chairs, and a lot of old files. You’ll usually hear the sound of trucks idling outside or the clatter of loading going on nearby. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the main road, but that’s just part of life here. We start our mornings early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and we stay until the last of the paperwork is filed away for the evening. There are a few of us here who have been working together for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things that might seem a bit disorganized to an outsider, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone, tracking where things are and talking to the drivers who are out on the long routes. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done with pen and paper in big ledgers. It’s just a simple, local business where we know our neighbors and the people who pass through Chittor Road every day. We don't have a big corporate philosophy, we just come in and do the work.
