The Femme Garments

The Femme Garments is up on the third floor of the Celebration Mall on Bhuwana Road. Being in a mall is a bit different than a street shop. We have to follow the mall hours, which means some late nights, especially on the weekends. It’s a clean space with bright lights, which is nice for showing the clothes. We mostly focus on women’s clothing, as the name suggests. It’s a lot of work keeping the displays looking halfway decent because people are always moving things around. We’ve got a small team here, just a few of us who take turns with the shifts. It gets really busy during the holidays, and sometimes we run out of space to store the extra boxes. We don’t have a massive advertising budget, we just rely on people walking past and seeing something they like in the window. The air conditioning in the mall is a big plus during the summer months. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what fits best. It’s not a fancy boutique, just a regular shop where you can find something to wear for a party or just for home. Sometimes the lift to the third floor is slow, but people still find their way to us. We’ve been here for a couple of years now and have a few regulars who always stop by to say hello. It can be tiring, but it’s how we make our way.
