Fashionara

You can find us at Nandawat Bhawan, which is House No. 6 in North Sunderwas. We are right opposite the Sonakshi Sports Hub, so there’s always kids and athletes running around nearby. Fashionara is what we call the business, and mostly we just deal with clothes and different fabrics. It’s not like those big malls you see; it’s more of a home-grown setup inside the building. The rooms are filled with samples and racks of things we’re working on. Sometimes it gets a little cluttered with all the boxes, but we know where everything is. We started out small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage. People stop by because they saw the sign or heard about us from a neighbor. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just focus on the stitching and the designs we have in front of us. North Sunderwas is a quiet enough area, which helps when we need to concentrate on some detailed work. The rainy season can be a bit of a pain for deliveries, but we make do. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here even if we aren’t all related. We drink a lot of chai and talk about what’s trending, though we mostly just stick to what our customers ask for. It’s just honest work in a quiet part of town.
