Tarun Transport Co is situated at 24 - C in the Pratap Nagar area of Transport Nagar. It is one of those spots where you can always hear a diesel engine idling nearby. Our office at 24 - C is a small, practical space. We keep the doors open most of the time so the air moves through, though it brings in a lot of dust from the street. Pratap Nagar is the kind of place where everyone is working hard to move goods. We have been operating from this same building for a while now. Inside, it is mostly just filing cabinets, a couple of old desks, and the sound of the fan spinning. We don't have any fancy computer systems or high-tech setups. Most of our business is done over the phone or with a pen and paper. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and the people we deal with. The neighbors are mostly other transport folks, so we all know the struggles of the daily traffic and the road conditions. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when the sun goes down just to watch the last few trucks pull out for their night trips. It’s a simple life at Transport Nagar. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up every morning, open the locks, and get to work on the day's tasks. It's a lot of repeating the same things, but it keeps the business going and the trucks moving.
