Taj Lake Palace

This Taj Lake Palace office is situated near the Inspection Bunglow, right opposite the petrol pump in Kherwara. That’s in the Udaipur district. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, located in a spot that’s easy to find if you’re looking for the petrol station. We have a simple building here. It’s not a big glass tower or anything like that. It’s just a place where we do our work every day. Being near the road means there’s always a bit of dust and the sound of trucks going by, but we’re used to it. We handle a lot of the local logistics from this office. There’s usually someone sitting at the main desk ready to help whoever walks in. We don't have a dress code or anything fancy like that. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. The office has a few rooms where we keep our records and some supplies. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we get a big delivery, but we manage. We aren't big on marketing ourselves. We just do the tasks that come up, whether it’s checking on supplies or coordinating with people in Udaipur. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the traffic outside. We’re just a small part of the bigger picture, working away in Kherwara. We don't have a mission statement, just a list of things to do before the day ends.
