M V Tours Travels

If you come to No. 92 A, you’ll find our little travel office. It’s a simple space with a couple of desks and a lot of papers scattered around. M V Tours Travels is where we spend our time trying to coordinate where cars need to be and when. We have a bunch of keys hanging on the wall and a whiteboard that tracks which driver is out on a trip and when they might be back. It’s often a bit chaotic because plans change and the phone never really stops ringing for long. We don’t have a big waiting room with plush chairs; it’s mostly just us and the drivers coming in to settle their accounts or pick up their next assignment. Sometimes the neighbor's dog comes and sits by the door. We drink our tea while looking at maps or checking the fuel prices for the week. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of waiting for people to call back. The walls are a bit bare, except for a calendar that we mark up with a thick pen. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the people around here know us by name. It’s a grounded business, and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. We just stay busy with the road and the schedules. Sometimes we just sit and wait for the next call.
