Taj Lake Palace Hotels

Even though the name is big, we are located at 79, Arihant Nagar on Kalamata Road in Udaipur. This isn't the big palace on the water, it’s the office where we handle the behind-the-scenes stuff for Taj Lake Palace Hotels. We’ve got a small team here working out of this building. Most days are spent on the phone or responding to emails that come in. Udaipur is a beautiful place to live, and being out here on Kalamata Road means we avoid some of the heaviest tourist traffic. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have a front door that sticks a bit when it rains, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We handle bookings, staff schedules, and all the mundane things that keep a business running. People think it’s all glamour because of the name, but for us, it’s just about making sure the details are sorted. We keep a pot of coffee going and try to stay organized with all the folders and ledgers we have stacked up. It gets quite warm in Rajasthan, so the afternoons are usually quiet while everyone stays inside to work. We’ve been at this address for a decent amount of time now, and the local shopkeepers nearby all know us. It’s just a regular group of people doing their jobs every day in a city we love.
