We are located at H. No. 1 Math Marg in the Savina area of Udaipur. Most people know this part of town for being a bit away from the main tourist hubs like the lake side, which we actually prefer. It’s quieter here. Rajasthan Royal Tourism started because a few of us knew the local roads better than the back of our hands. We spend our mornings looking at route maps and talking to drivers who’ve been doing this for twenty years. There’s always someone coming in asking about the best way to get to Jodhpur or wanting to know if the desert camps are too hot this time of year. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with marble floors; it’s just a couple of desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a big map pinned to the wall that’s starting to curl at the edges. Savina is a practical place to work from. We handle the paperwork for cars, organize the schedules for the week, and make sure the fuel tanks are full before anyone heads out. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit to confirm things, but that’s just how it goes. If you walk past the Math Marg crossing, you’ll see our small sign. We usually have tea around eleven, and there’s always a bit of chatter about the traffic or the weather. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
