I’ve been working out of this place on Bohra Ganesh Ji Road for quite a while. It’s a very well-known road because of the temple, so there is always a lot of activity. On Wednesdays, it gets especially crowded with devotees, and the whole street smells like incense and sweets. My office is just a simple room along the main stretch. I don’t have a fancy number or a big neon sign, just a small place where I keep my things. I usually leave the door open to let in the breeze, even though it brings in some dust from the road. I’ve got an old ceiling fan that keeps things cool enough, though it squeaks a bit when it’s on high. I spend most of my day here, mostly just handling whatever paperwork comes my way. I know the local vendors around here, and we often chat while waiting for customers. It’s a busy life on this road, but I like being in the middle of it all. If you are looking for me, I am about halfway down the road from the main crossing. It is a bit noisy with the scooters and the bells from the temple, but you get used to it after a few days. I don't really do things the modern way with computers for everything; I still like my paper ledgers and pens. It feels more real that way, I think.
