It’s a busy little corner of the city. Being an advocate means there is usually a lot of paperwork piled up, but we know where everything is. The office isn't one of those high-rise glass buildings. It’s a more traditional space that feels like it’s been lived in for a long time. We spend most of our hours here reading through files and talking to people who come in with their problems. It can be stressful work, but it’s what we do. The neighborhood has a lot of energy. With Liberty Marketing across the way, there are always delivery trucks and people moving around. We don’t put on airs here. We talk to people in plain English and try to make sense of things without making them more complicated than they need to be. It’s a practical office for practical matters. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, and the chairs aren't the newest, but they are comfortable enough for a long meeting. We’ve been part of the Ashok Nagar community for a while and like being in a spot that’s easy for folks to get to. It's just a regular office where we do our best to stay organized and helpful for those who come by.
