Out here at 45, Ambavgarh, we run Sontex Infotech Pvt. Ltd. It’s a quiet area compared to the city center, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on code and computer systems all day. We started this place because we liked the idea of having an office that didn't feel like a cold corporate box. It’s a regular building and we’ve set up our servers and workstations where we have enough room to breathe. Most of the time, the office is pretty quiet, just the sound of keyboards clicking and the fans on the computers running. We handle a lot of different tech tasks for various companies. Sometimes we are troubleshooting old software and other days we are trying to set up new networks. It isn't always exciting work, but it’s steady. Ambavgarh has some good spots to grab lunch, so we usually head out for a bit in the afternoon to get away from the screens. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby. If you walk in, you’re likely to just see someone hunched over a monitor. We like it that way because it keeps things simple. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon when talking to people, we just explain what’s wrong with their tech and how we can fix it. It’s just a small group of us trying to keep the systems running smoothly for everyone who uses our services. We keep the air conditioning high because the machines get quite hot.
