Singhal Road Carrier

Singhal Road Carrier has been over in Pratap Nagar for as long as I can remember. This part of town is basically our second home. We operate out of a small space where we keep all our records and talk to the guys who drive the trucks. It’s not a fancy office with big glass windows or anything. It's more of a place where you can come in, sit down, and talk about where a load needs to go. We deal with road carrying, which means we spend a lot of time thinking about routes and distances. Pratap Nagar is a good area for us because it’s easy for the vehicles to get around. Some days are quieter than others. On the busy days, the phone doesn't stop ringing and there is a lot of shouting back and forth to get things loaded. We try to keep a handle on it all. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just know how to move goods from one place to another. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our little office stays pretty much the same. We have some old maps on the wall and a lot of calendars. It’s a practical business run by people who aren't afraid of getting their hands a bit dirty. We just get on with the work that needs doing, day after day, without making a big deal of it. That is how we have always done things.
