Building Number 25 on Padmini Marg is where we spend most of our time. Ravindra Nagar is a decent area, though it gets quite congested during the day. We deal with glass technology, which sounds a bit more high-tech than it actually feels when you’re carrying heavy sheets around. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we have the space we need to get things done. We have a few machines that have been with us since the start. They’re old but they still do the job. The light in the workshop is actually quite nice in the mornings before the sun gets too high. We usually have a lot of glass scraps lying around in bins that need to be cleared out every weekend. It’s a regular routine. We don’t really do any big advertising; most people just know we’re here on Padmini Marg. Sometimes we have tea breaks out on the sidewalk if it’s not too dusty. The local vendors know us by name. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when the trucks come to load up the finished glass, and we have to be careful not to block the neighbors’ driveways. There’s always something to sweep up or a machine that needs oiling. We don't have a corporate office in another city; this is it. It’s just a small group of people working with glass and trying to stay out of the rain.
