Somani Industries

You’ll find Somani Industries over at 17, Shree Mahalaxmi Market. We are right opposite the Fateh Memorial, just outside Suraj Pole. It’s a busy part of Udaipur. There’s always someone passing by or a rickshaw honking. We’ve been operating from this market for a long time. Our shop deals with various industrial supplies. It’s the kind of place where things are stacked up high on shelves. We might not look like a modern office, but we know where everything is. Most of our customers are local workers or people from nearby towns who need specific parts or materials. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who come in through the door. It’s more of a community feel than a cold business transaction. The building is old, and it has a bit of character. Sometimes it’s a struggle to find parking nearby because of the location. We start early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. We don't use any fancy systems. We just write things down and make sure people get what they paid for. It’s a practical way to run things. We’ve seen many businesses come and go around Suraj Pole, but we’re still here doing our thing every day. The fan in the corner makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the heat away during the long summer afternoons when the shop gets really warm.
