Shubham Roadways

Shubham Roadways is right at 47 Sikh Colony. It’s a well-known spot in this part of town and we have been here for many years. Most of the people around here know our name by now. The office is part of the building there, and it’s where we spend most of our time. Transport is a messy business sometimes, with all the grease and the noise of the engines, but we like it here in Sikh Colony. It feels like home to us. We don’t do anything too fancy or modern. We just help people move their stuff from one point to another using the trucks we have available. Sometimes it’s building materials, other times it’s household goods or commercial items. Every day is a bit different which keeps things interesting. We aren’t really into the corporate way of doing things. We prefer to talk to people directly and work things out over a cup of tea. There’s usually some tea going on in the office anyway, and drivers are always coming by to check their schedules or tell us about the road conditions. It gets a bit crowded during the peak hours when everyone is in a hurry, but we managed to make it work. We’ve seen the colony change over the years, but Shubham Roadways has stayed pretty much the same. We focus on getting the trucks out and making sure the loaders do their job. It's a simple life, focused on the road and the loads we carry for people. Come find us at number 47.
