Shree Kamal Freight Carriers

Our place, Shree Kamal Freight Carriers, is located at D-37 in Pratap Nagar Transport Nagar, right on the Chittor Road,. It is a good location because all the big trucks pass by here anyway. If you know the Transport Nagar area, you know it is always dusty and full of activity. We spend most of our mornings getting the manifests ready and checking the local weather reports for the long routes. The office isn't anything special, just a place to sit and do the billing. We have been operating from this Chittor Road spot for a while now. Some days are longer than others, especially when we are waiting for a shipment to arrive late at night. You see a lot of different people in this line of work. We mostly just focus on the logistics of getting things where they need to go without a lot of talking. The yard can get pretty crowded when three or four trucks are trying to park at the same time. It takes some patience to manage the space we have. My desk is usually covered in receipts and phone numbers scribbled on scraps of paper. We don't use a lot of fancy software, just basic stuff that works for us. Everyone knows everyone else in this part of Pratap Nagar. It’s a community of transport people. We just show up, do the work, and hope the roads are clear for the drivers. It is a simple life but we like it well enough here.
