We are out in Debari, which is a bit of a distance from the middle of the city. It’s mostly an industrial area, so it’s a good spot for a road lines company like ours. The air is a bit different here because of all the factories, and it can get quite quiet at night compared to the city center. We have a decent-sized yard where we can keep a few trucks parked when they aren't out on a job. Our office is just a small building made of brick and mortar, nothing too fancy to look at. Inside, you’ll find some old furniture and a lot of paper records because we still like to write things down by hand. My father started this business and he still comes in some days to check on how things are going. We focus on moving goods across the state, and we’ve built up a lot of knowledge about the different routes over the years. Sometimes the rain makes the roads in Debari quite muddy, which can be a real pain for the heavy vehicles. We don't have a big marketing plan, we just do our work and hope people are satisfied enough to call us again. It’s a lot of long hours and phone calls, but we are used to the grind. We like it here because there is plenty of room to move around without the city traffic being an issue.
