Shree Bhairav Roadlines

We’ve been working as Shree Bhairav Roadlines out of Shiv Market in Pratap Nagar for a long time now. Our office is specifically located on the first floor, right by the Bypass Circle. It gets quite loud during the day because of all the heavy traffic coming through the circle, but you get used to that noise after a few years. Usually, there’s a pot of tea being made around ten in the morning for whoever is in the office. We spend most of our hours on the phone or checking the handwritten logs on the desk. The stairs up to our place are a bit narrow and steep, but it keeps us moving. Looking out from the balcony window, you can see the trucks lining up near the bypass at all hours of the day and night. It’s a dusty place, especially in the summer months when the hot wind picks up. We don't have any fancy furniture or leather chairs. Just some wooden desks, old metal files, and a couple of plastic chairs for the drivers who drop by to talk about a shipment. Some days are slower than others, and we just sit and talk. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use hand fans while we wait for it to come back. It's a very simple setup. We know the other shop owners around here pretty well. It’s just how things are in this part of Udaipur. We don't have big goals, we just get the trucks moving and handle the paperwork as it comes.
