Being located right at Delhi Gate means we are in one of the most crowded and lively parts of the town. It is an old area with narrow streets and lots of shops everywhere you look. Getting the trucks in and out of Delhi Gate can be a real challenge, especially during the festival seasons when the whole place is packed with people. Our office is a small corner space that we have rented for many years now. It has a bit of a lived-in feel, with tea stains on the desks and stacks of old delivery receipts everywhere. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees, just a handful of us who know the business well. We spend a lot of time talking to the shopkeepers nearby and the drivers who pass through. It is a noisy place to work, with horns honking and people shouting all day long, but we like the energy of it. We don't have any polished slogans or fancy branding. People come to us because they know we are here and we know the roads. Sometimes we stay late into the night waiting for a shipment to arrive from another city. It is hard work and the margins are thin, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We have been a part of the Delhi Gate community for a long time and don't see ourselves leaving anytime soon.
