Salumber Kisan Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in the Salumber Gramin area, specifically at the place of Tej Pal Lal Ji. It is a quiet part of the district where almost everyone you meet is somehow involved in farming. We don't have a big corporate office in the city because we prefer being right where the fields are. The office is just a simple building where we keep our registers and meet up to talk about the next harvest. It can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just part of life here. We started this because the farmers around Salumber needed a way to buy supplies together and maybe get a better price when it comes time to sell. Tej Pal Lal Ji has been around here for a long time, so everyone knows where to go when they have a question. We don't really follow a strict 9 to 5 schedule. If someone needs help at six in the morning, someone is usually around. We deal with wheat, maize, and whatever else the soil lets us grow. It is honest work and there are no big bosses here. We are just a group of neighbors trying to help each other out with the daily grind of agriculture. The road to the office is a bit bumpy, so watch out for that if you're driving.
