Avh Aqua And Foods Private Limited is run out of House No. 09 in Krishna Nagar. We are over in the Titerdi area of Udaipur. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s pretty calm compared to the touristy parts of the city. We chose this house because it gives us the space we need without the high rent of a commercial building. We deal with aqua products and food items, which means there’s always something to check on. The house has a few rooms that we’ve turned into storage and a small office. Udaipur can get really hot, so the thick walls of the house help keep things a bit cooler. We spend our mornings talking to suppliers and our afternoons checking the quality of what comes in. It’s a small family-type operation. We don’t have a sign out front that’s very big. Most people just know us by word of mouth. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside while we are trying to load a small van. It’s very informal. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. Usually, it's just jeans and a t-shirt while we move boxes around. It’s a lot of physical work and the paperwork is usually done late at night when everything else is quiet. We’ve been in Titerdi for a while and we like the pace of life here. It’s just us trying to build something steady in the aqua and food trade.
