Royal Way Tours

You can find Royal Way Tours over at 32 Lake Palace Road on Palace Road in the Century Complex near the Lake. Being near the water is nice, though it gets quite crowded with tourists during the weekends. We started this because we know the area well and wanted to help people see the sights. Our office is tucked away in the complex, so it’s a bit quieter than the main road sometimes. We handle a lot of tour bookings and car arrangements. It’s mostly just making sure drivers are on time and people know where they are going. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of notebooks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. Some days we are out meeting guests, and other days we are just stuck inside doing paperwork. It’s not a glamorous job, despite the name. We deal with a lot of local traffic and the heat in the summer. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on Palace Road, but we’ve stuck around at this spot. It’s a lot of talking, really. Explaining the same routes over and over, making sure everyone understands the costs. We try to be clear about things so there are no surprises later on. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to keep things moving. We appreciate the people who stop by the office to chat. We usually have a bit of music playing in the background while we work.
