Royal Kitchen Comfort

If you are looking for us, we are over at 26 Hathipole in the Emerald Tower. It’s a good building, though the parking can be a real headache on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. We spend most of our time here surrounded by kitchen stuff. It gets a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives and we have to find space for all the boxes. We aren't really the type to have a polished showroom; it’s more of a working space where things are constantly moving. My brother and I run the place. We didn't really plan on being in the kitchen business, it just kind of happened after we worked for someone else for a few years. We know most of the regulars who come by, and we usually have a tea or two while we talk about what they need for their homes. The air conditioning in the tower is a lifesaver in the summer, I’ll tell you that. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we end up carrying things up the stairs, which keeps us fit, I guess. We don't do anything special, just sell what people need to get their cooking done. It’s a simple life and we like the people we meet. Emerald Tower is a bit old now, but it’s home for the business. We try to keep things tidy, but when you're busy with deliveries, the floor gets covered in bubble wrap and tape pretty fast.
