Vardhman Bartan Bhandar

If you walk down Hiran Magri Petrol Pump Road in Sector-4, you will find us at number 234. We are Vardhman Bartan Bhandar. Our shop is full of stainless steel, copper, and some brass items. It can get pretty loud in here when someone is looking through the stacks of plates or when we get a new shipment of pressure cookers. Metal hitting metal makes a specific clanging sound that we are just used to by now. We spend our mornings dusting the shelves because the road outside brings in a lot of grit from the passing traffic. People come in looking for a specific size of kadai or maybe a tiffin box for their kid starting school. We have stacks of thalis and bowls reaching almost to the ceiling in the back storage area. It is not a fancy place, just a regular shop where you can find what you need for the kitchen. Sometimes a customer brings back an old pot to see if we can get a handle fixed or if we have a lid that fits it. We try to help out where we can. The street outside is always busy with cars going to the petrol pump, so there is constant noise. We keep the shop open until late evening. It is mostly just us moving stacks around to make room for new stock. We don't use a computer for everything; we still write things down in the ledger when it gets busy.
