Rakesh Paneri

This is Rakesh Paneri. You can usually find me over at Bapu Bazar. It’s a busy place with a lot of foot traffic, which is why I like it there. My address has some strange numbers in it, 0 291666666666667, but locals know the general area well enough. I’ve been around Bapu Bazar for a long time, watching the shops change and the people come and go. I don't have a big, shiny office with a fancy lobby. It's more of a small, practical space where I can do what I need to do. I’m a local guy and I don’t believe in acting like I’m something I’m not. The work I do is straightforward. Sometimes the market gets so loud you can hardly hear yourself think, but that’s the energy of the place. I enjoy being part of the daily bustle. I don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people writing fancy things about me. I just open up, do my work, and go home. People stop by for a chat or to ask for help with things. It’s a simple life and it works for me. If you’re walking through Bapu Bazar, you might see me around. It’s not a hard place to find if you’re looking. I’ve always preferred being in the thick of things rather than tucked away somewhere quiet. Most of my neighbors in the market have been here as long as I have.
