Amit Tiwari Associates

My office, Amit Tiwari Associates, is at number 335 in Hathipole. Udaipur is a beautiful city, but this part of it is where the real daily grind happens. It’s an old area with a lot of character. Our building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps us dry. Inside, it’s just a basic setup with a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets. I’ve been working here for quite a while now. Most people find us because they’re walking through the market and see our sign. It’s not a polished corporate office. The walls are painted a simple cream color, and we have a few plants that I sometimes forget to water. I handle most of the work myself, with a little help here and over there. It’s about being reliable and just showing up every day. I like being in Hathipole because everything you need is right there. If I need a pen or a snack, I just walk ten steps. The street outside is always full of scooters and people shouting to each other. It’s a lively place to spend the day. We don't have a mission statement or anything fancy. We just do our work and go home to our families. It’s a straightforward life here at 335. I like that it's not a cold, glass office. It has the smell of old paper and tea. That's good enough for me.
