We are positioned right near the New Star Dharm Kata, which makes it easy for the drivers to find us when they are coming in to weigh their loads. The area around Sukher Road is always buzzing with heavy vehicles and the sound of horns. Our place is pretty basic. We’ve got a small office where we keep the records and a bit of space outside for when things get busy. It is not the cleanest part of town because of all the construction and transport activity, but we like being here. Being near the Dharm Kata means we see a lot of action throughout the day. We spend most of our hours tracking where everyone is and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, especially when the weather is bad. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how things run. The walls are a bit bare and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. We don't spend much on making things look pretty because we are usually too busy dealing with the actual work. Pratap Nagar is a good spot for this kind of business. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly how we like our drink. It’s just how things go. We stay late most nights.
