Rajasthan Gujrat Roadways

Our office is located at F-6 in Pratap Nagar, right inside the Transport Nagar area. It’s the usual scene here with trucks parked everywhere and a lot of grease and noise. Rajasthan Gujrat Roadways has been around for a while, focusing on the routes that connect our state with Gujarat. We spend most of our time on the phone with drivers who are somewhere on the highway near the border. The office is pretty simple, just a place to sit and keep track of the manifests. It gets quite hot in Pratap Nagar during the summer months, but we stay busy. We have a lot of different clients, some big and some small, who need things moved back and forth. We don't use any fancy tracking software, just logs and our own knowledge of the roads. Sometimes a truck breaks down and we have to find a mechanic nearby to get it fixed quickly. It’s a lot of coordination. Being in Transport Nagar means we are close to all the other transport guys and the spare parts shops. We usually have tea together in the afternoons while waiting for the evening loads to be ready. It’s not an easy job with the long hours, but it’s what we know. We just try to keep the wheels turning and make sure the cargo reaches where it needs to go without too much trouble. It is a plain and practical way to run things.
