Rahul Udawat

My name is Rahul Udawat and you can find me at 209 Bapu Bazar. If you know Bapu Bazar, you know it’s always packed with people and there’s always something going on. My shop is right in the middle of all that chaos. Number 209 is a small space, but it’s enough for what I do. I’ve been here for a good number of years. I didn't want a place in a big mall or somewhere fancy. I like the noise of the market. It makes the day go by faster. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because I have a lot of stuff piled up. I try to keep it organized, but it doesn’t always stay that way. Some days are really busy and I don’t even have time to sit down. Other days, I just wait for someone to walk in. I don’t have a big team behind me. It’s mostly just me and a helper who comes in the afternoons. We don’t have any fancy mission statements. We just run the shop. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people still manage to find us. Bapu Bazar 209 has been my second home for a long time. I don't plan on moving anywhere else. It’s a bit dusty and the tea stall nearby is always loud, but it suits me just fine. I think people like the honest feel of the place. We just do what we can every single day.
