R. D. I. C.

Our office for R. D. I. C. is at 69 Anand Nagar, right on University Road. Being so close to the university means there are always students and buses moving past the front door. It’s a lively area to work in. The building itself is an older one, and our space is on the ground floor which makes it easy for people to just walk in. We have a few rooms filled with desks, filing cabinets, and a lot of old reports. It’s not a very modern setup, but it serves our purposes just fine. We spend most of our time looking at plans and writing up documents. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit loud when there is a protest or a big event at the university, but we just close the windows and keep going. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing the mail. It is a very plain office with no expensive furniture or decorations. We just have what we need to get the work done. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up in the afternoons for a break. It’s a steady kind of job, and we’ve been in this same spot for quite a few years now. Most people in Anand Nagar know where we are.
