Praveen Kothari

I am Praveen Kothari and my workplace is the Court Chauraha Chamber. If you know the area, you know it is always humming with activity. The chamber itself is where I spend the bulk of my time dealing with various legal tasks. It is a practical space, not meant for showing off but for getting things done. There are rows of law books and folders that have seen better days. I don't have a team of secretaries or a glossy brochure to hand out. When people come to see me, we just sit down and talk about what is going on with their case. The Chauraha outside is always noisy with traffic and people, but once you step inside the chamber, it gets a bit quieter. I handle the filing, the research, and the court appearances myself. It is a lot of responsibility, but that is the nature of the job. I try to be straightforward about how things work because the legal system can be confusing for most people. Some days are just filled with endless typing and others are spent waiting around the court house. It’s a modest setup but it works for what I do. I have been at this for some time now and I don't see myself moving anywhere else. It is just a regular office for a regular person doing legal work.
