Navneet Roadlines

The office for Navneet Roadlines sits at 17 Nehru Bazar. Being right in the bazaar means it is always crowded and noisy. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. We don't have a fancy lobby or any marketing people telling us what to say. It’s just us in a small room with a couple of phones and a lot of notebooks. We spend the day coordinating trips and talking to shopkeepers who need stuff delivered. Nehru Bazar is a tight squeeze for some of the bigger vehicles, so we have to plan things carefully. It’s a lot of work just to keep everything organized. We don't use any complicated systems. Most of our records are still handwritten because that’s how we’ve always done it. My family has been in this business for two generations. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to do our job and go home to our families. Some days the traffic in the bazar is so bad that nothing moves for an hour. We just sit and wait it out. We know the other business owners nearby, and we usually get our tea from the stall at the corner. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't make big claims about being the best or the fastest. We just show up and do the work that needs doing at Navneet Roadlines. It’s a busy, messy, and real business for us.
