M/S Achal Lal & Sons

You will find us at number 14, Kheman Ghati, right in the Bhattiyani Chohatta area. M/S Achal Lal & Sons has been part of this neighborhood for quite a while now. The streets around here are narrow and old, which makes it hard for big trucks to get through, so we do a lot of things by hand or with smaller carts. It is a family thing, so you will usually see a few of us sitting around the shop talking to locals. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. We have our stock kept in the back and we bring things out when someone asks. It is a bit dark inside and the stone walls keep it a little cooler when the sun is beating down outside. We handle various goods and we know most of our suppliers by their first names. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone telling us how to speak to people. We just talk the way we always have. Sometimes business is slow and we just sit and watch the people go by on the street. Other times it is so busy we can barely catch our breath. We don't make big promises about being the best at anything. We just try to be honest about what we have and what we can do. It’s a traditional way of living and working that suits us just fine.
