We are up on the second floor of Mehta Chambers, which is right by Delhi Gate. Room 205 is where we do all our work. You have to walk up a couple of flights of stairs since the elevator in this building is often out of service or just too slow. The office is filled with the smell of dried herbs and different extracts we keep in jars and boxes. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. We spend a lot of our time filling small orders and labeling packets by hand. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and doing paperwork or weighing out materials. Mehta Chambers is an old building, so it has that specific smell of old paper and stone. Out the window, you can see the busy streets around Delhi Gate, which are always full of people and cars. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from answering the phone to packing the boxes. Sometimes we get deliveries of raw herbs that we have to sort through, which takes up most of the floor space for a few days. We don't have any fancy displays or a reception area. It's just a working office where we try to stay organized despite all the jars and folders. We just do our work and go home when the sun sets.
