Marudhara Travel Ventures

We are based at 22 Lake Palace Road, tucked onto Hem Raj Marg. It is just a little ways off the main road, which is nice because it is a bit quieter for us. Our office is quite small and we have a lot of stuff shoved into the corners, like old files and some spare parts for the bikes. We don't really have a reception desk or anything fancy like that. You just walk in and one of us will be there to help you out. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to drivers and making sure everything is ready for the next day. Sometimes the tourists who are staying near the lake get a bit lost and end up in our doorway, so we help them find their way back. Hem Raj Marg is a friendly street and we know all the other shop owners around here. We often sit outside on a stool during the quiet hours just to get some fresh air. We aren't a big operation with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who have been working together for a long time. We don't use any fancy marketing language or try to act like we are better than anyone else. We just work hard and try to make sure our customers get where they need to go. It’s a simple life and we like it.
