Manisha Transport Co

Our office is over at L-26 in the Transport Nagar part of Pratap Nagar. It's a practical spot for Manisha Transport Co because all the trucks and drivers are always coming through this area. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the tires moving on the dirt roads, but it’s where the work happens. We spend most of our time looking at paperwork and talking to the drivers about their trips. We have been in this spot for a while now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a place to get the job done. Sometimes the phones ring all at once and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear the tea boiling. We know most of the people working in the neighboring units since we see them every day. We handle different kinds of loads, mostly just moving stuff across the state or further out. It is a lot of coordination. You have to make sure the fuel is ready and the routes are clear. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just find us because they know we are here at L-26. It's a straightforward setup. We have a couple of desks, some chairs for the drivers to sit on while they wait, and a lot of logbooks. Life in Transport Nagar is busy, but we prefer being right where the action is. It is loud and messy, but it is our livelihood.
