Kota Udaipur Transport Co

Our office is at 68 Delhi Gate in Nehru Bazar. It’s an old part of the city, and it’s always packed with people and rickshaws. Kota Udaipur Transport Co has been running this route for as long as I can remember. We specialize in moving things between these two cities, though we do go elsewhere if someone asks. The office is up a narrow flight of stairs and it’s always a bit dark inside. We have an old ceiling fan that wobbles, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But it’s where we’ve done our business for decades. My partner handles the Kota side, and I stay here in Udaipur to manage the local deliveries and the drivers. It’s a lot of logistics, making sure the trucks are full before they head out. We don't have any fancy tracking gadgets. We just call the drivers on their mobiles to see where they are. Sometimes the bazar gets so crowded that we can’t even get a small van close to the office, so we have to use handcarts to move things. It’s just the way things are in this part of town. We don't make any big claims about being the best. We just do the work every day and try to keep our regulars happy. It’s been enough for us all these years.
