Kismat Roadlines

You can find Kismat Roadlines at 196 Reti Stand. It’s a very well-known spot in this part of town, especially for people in the construction trade. The area is always full of trucks carrying sand, gravel, and other building materials. Our office is right there in the middle of all that dust and noise. It’s a busy location, and there’s always something happening just outside our door. The office itself is quite old and hasn't changed much over the years. We have the same wooden furniture we’ve had since we first started. It’s sturdy and it does the job just fine. I spend most of my day sitting behind the main desk, answering the phone calls and talking to the drivers about their schedules. We don't use any fancy computer software here, just our paper ledgers and some basic notes. The Reti Stand area is naturally very dusty, and we’re constantly having to wipe down the windows, but they just get covered again by noon. It’s just part of being in this location. We know most of the other guys who work around the stand. We don’t have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure the trucks are moving and the work is getting done properly. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is coming in after dark. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it a long time. We just keep things moving at number 196.
