Khanji Hardware

We are located at 41/711 on the street where the Ajanta Hotel is. It’s in the Kurawad Walo Ki Badi area, which is a bit of a mouthful if you aren't from around here. The shop is small and very full. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, packed with boxes of hinges, locks, nails, and everything else you’d expect in a hardware store. It’s a bit dark inside because the street is narrow and doesn't let in much sunlight. We know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. If a customer comes in looking for a specific bolt, we can usually find it in a minute or two. We spend a lot of our day standing behind the counter talking to contractors and local homeowners. There is a lot of dust because of the items we sell, so we are always wiping things down. We don't have a fancy computer system for inventory; we mostly just remember what we have or check the boxes manually. It’s a family business, and we’ve been in this spot for years. The tea from the shop next door is what keeps us going through the afternoon. It’s just a simple neighborhood hardware shop. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. We just like helping people find the tools they need to fix their things.
