Kamlesh Dani

My office is located at 25 Court Chauraha. Being right by the chauraha means there is never a dull moment. I’ve been working from this spot for a long time now. As Kamlesh Dani, I mostly deal with people who are coming and going from the court area. It’s a very central location, which makes it easy for people to find me, but it also means it’s quite noisy outside. The office at number 25 is a simple room with a couple of chairs for visitors and a large desk where I keep all my documents. I didn't want a fancy setup. I think a workspace should just be practical. Often, you’ll find me sorting through papers or talking to someone who just walked in from the street. There is always a lot of activity at the chauraha, with rickshaws and vendors everywhere. My day starts early and usually ends when the last of the court traffic clears out. I’ve grown used to the constant buzz of the city. I don't have a secretary or a big team helping me out. It’s just me doing the work as it comes. Sometimes the fans in the office make a bit of a clicking sound, but they keep the air moving. If you’re in the area for court business, you’ve probably walked past my door many times. It’s a small, honest practice. I just try to keep things moving and help out whoever stops by number 25.
