Kachher Natural Farm Llp

You can find us over at Gopal Sharma’s house, number 117 in New Vidhya Nagar, Sector 4. It’s a quiet part of Udaipur where the streets are a bit more relaxed. Kachher Natural Farm Llp is something we started because we wanted to get back to how things used to be done. No heavy chemicals or weird stuff in the dirt. Udaipur is a beautiful place, and we think the land deserves to be treated with some respect. We spend a lot of time out on the plots of land we manage outside the city. It isn't always easy, and sometimes the insects get the better of the crops, but that’s just how natural farming goes. Gopal’s place is where we keep the books and talk about what to plant next season. We aren't some big firm with a hundred employees in suits. It is just a small group of us who care about what people are eating. The neighbors in New Vidhya Nagar see us coming and going with mud on our boots all the time. Sometimes we sit around and wonder if we should have just stayed with the old ways of farming, but then we see the soil getting better and it feels right. We don't have a flashy website or a logo on every wall. We just have the dirt under our fingernails and the hope that the next season will be a good one for everyone. It’s just a normal life for us here.
