K. B. Minerals

Up here in Sector-11 of Hiran Magri, the air usually feels a bit dry and you can often see the dust from the surrounding areas. K. B. Minerals is based at number 723, and it’s a pretty simple setup for a minerals business. We spend our days talking about different types of rocks and powders that come out of the earth. Udaipur is known for this kind of work, so we are just one of many, but we’ve been at this specific location for a long time. The office is nothing special, just some desks and a lot of samples sitting on shelves gathering dust. We deal with the logistics of moving heavy loads from the mines to the processing units and then out to the customers. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don't go according to plan. The trucks break down or the weather makes the roads difficult, and we have to sit around the phone trying to fix it. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not; we’re just a local business that knows the mineral trade inside and out. Most of the people who work here have been with us for years, so we all know what needs to be done without being told. It’s a quiet part of town compared to the city center, which suits us just fine for the kind of work we do.
