Jai Jhameshwar Roadlines

Jai Jhameshwar Roadlines has its office on the 1st floor of Parihar Bhawan. We are right at the Pratap Nagar Choraha. Being upstairs gives us a bit of a view of the intersection below. It is interesting to watch the chaos of the traffic from a distance. The stairs are a bit steep, so we get our exercise going up and down. We have a small balcony where we sometimes stand to catch a breeze. Inside, the office is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of registers. We spend most of our time coordinating with the people on the ground. It is a lot of shouting down to the drivers or calling them on the mobile. We have been at Parihar Bhawan for some years now. The walls are covered with old calendars and maps. It is not a very quiet place because of the busy road outside. We have to speak loudly to be heard over the trucks. We deal with all sorts of goods, from small parcels to big loads. Everyone who works here is from the local area. We don't have a corporate structure. We just work together to get the day done. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed. It is just part of the job. Pratap Nagar is a good location because everyone has to pass through the choraha.
