Gujrat Maharastra Transport Co

We are up on the 4th floor of Parihar Bhawan, right at the Pratap Nagar Bypass Choraha. It’s a bit of a climb, but the view of the traffic is okay from up here. Gujrat Maharastra Transport Co mostly looks after routes going towards those two states. It’s a lot of highway miles. Our office is fairly basic, just some chairs and a big map on the wall. We spend hours on the phone talking to people in different cities. Since we are near the bypass, it’s easy for the drivers to pull over nearby. We deal with a lot of paperwork because crossing state lines always has its rules. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s usually someone you know sitting behind the desk. We don’t use any corporate talk here. We just tell you what the situation is with the trucks and the timing. Sometimes the roads are bad and things take longer. We try to keep the costs fair because we know how it is for small businesses. Every day is different, depending on what needs to be moved. We’ve been in this building for a while now. It’s a steady job and we like the people we work with. Just a regular transport office doing its thing. It gets a bit windy on the fourth floor, but we keep the windows shut to keep the dust out.
