We’ve been set up at Court Chauraha 66 for a long time. It’s a busy area, always a lot of noise from the street and people heading to the courts. It gets pretty dusty with all the traffic. I started this place because I wanted a small office close to where everything happens. It’s not a large space. We have a few chairs for people to wait in and a desk that has seen better days. It’s practical, though. Most of the people who come in are regulars or folks who were told to find us by someone else. We don’t do anything fancy. We just look at the papers, figure out what needs to happen, and get to it. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a lot of backlog. I usually have tea around four and that’s when the office feels a bit more relaxed. The building itself is old, but it holds up. You learn a lot about people working in this part of town. Everyone is in a hurry, but we try not to rush things too much. Errors happen when you rush. I like being right here in the middle of it all. It makes the work feel more real. If you’re looking for us, we are right there by the main crossing. Just look for the sign that’s slightly tilted and you will find the door easily.
