Global Transport Corporation is tucked away over at D-39 in Pratap Nagar, which is right in the middle of the Transport Nagar area. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know it’s always humming with engines and people moving things around. Our office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we handle the daily logs and wait for the drivers to check in. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit now, so we’ve seen the roads get paved and the traffic change over time. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the trucks passing through, but that is just part of the job. We keep a few chairs for when people stop by to talk about their loads. There is a tea stall nearby that we visit way too often. Pratap Nagar is a busy hub, and being at D-39 puts us right where the action is. We don't have fancy decorations or corporate stuff on the walls. It is mostly just calendars and notes pinned up. Some days the phones don’t stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to hear the crows outside. We just take it as it comes. Usually, someone is here from early morning until the last truck is sorted for the night. It is a simple setup but it works for what we do every day. We know most of the other folks working around Transport Nagar too. There is always someone shouting or a truck backing up nearby.
