Ganganagar Transport Corporation

Ganganagar Transport Corporation is based at D-44 in Pratap Nagar, which is right inside the Transport Nagar section along Chittor Road. If you come by our place, you won't find any fancy decorations or glass walls. It is just a plain office where we do our daily work. We’ve got some old metal cabinets filled with years of records and a few desks that are usually covered in manifests and tea cups. The area outside is always busy with trucks moving in and out, and the air is thick with the smell of diesel. We start our day quite early to beat the heat and the heaviest of the traffic on Chittor Road. Our staff is just a few local guys who have been in this line of work for most of their lives. We don’t really have a formal way of doing things; we just handle whatever comes up, whether it’s a late shipment or a driver needing directions. It can be a bit chaotic at times, especially when multiple trucks arrive at once, but we always manage to sort it out. We don’t go in for any of that modern corporate talk. We just stay here at D-44 and keep things moving as best as we can. Most of the other business owners around Pratap Nagar are our friends, so there is a nice sense of community even with all the hard work and noise. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy.
